First Time for Everything....

Ending May and starting June, Austin is now 21 months! Not too much longer and we turn the big 2! Over the month Austin has experienced many firsts! Austin attended his first big movie premiere of "Mickey Mouse the Choo Choo Express" We went with Ben and Alex and all the boys did great! Looking at Austin sitting in a movie seat eating popcorn with his buddies took my breath away it just seemed like yesterday when he learned how to crawl. I apologize for no pics I ran out the house with out the camera. He loved the movie and continued to stand up in the chair and yell out Hi and Choo Choo! He is still talking about Mickey!

Austin has started saying more words. He came say the following colors blue, red, green, yellow, purple, pink, orange, black, and white. We are working on brown and grey. He is now counting to five and he even will say the number six! We are working on getting this on video. Austin loves to play with his friends and he came name all his buddies! He also understands now that Aaron goes to work. He will say Daddy work! When we drive by downtown and says "buildings, daddy work, Hi" and starts to wave at the buildings!

Austin also got to experience going to "Thomas the train and friends!" It was a great time, we all got to ride the train and it was a 35 minute train ride. Austin had so much fun and would get so excited when they blew the train whistle! He brought along his train hat and train whistle from home. Sorry again we managed to leave the house with out the camera. We will blame that one on Aaron! There was also bouncy castles there and Austin loves this. We also got to celebrate Ben's birthday there and Austin got to take his first "wak" at a pinata! He did not break it open but he sure did enjoy the lolly pop he got from it!

Dora the explorer came all the way to Perth! We went to our first live concert and Austin did great! He has never seen Dora but he had a blast! We went with all his buddies Ben, Alex, and Malcom! Our seats were all the way in the back but it worked out perfect because the boys were able to stand in their seats and jump up and dance! And Austin loves to jump and dance these says! Austin got a Dora light to remember the event, it is a neat light that lights up!

Like I said above Austin is enjoying dancing and jumping all the time now. He loves to play his musical piano and then dance around! Check out the video clip.


Austin does not only play football but loves to play soccer as well. I think he is taking after his big cousin Jack!


Austin also experienced his first sleep over! He got to spend the night with his buddies Alex and Ben while Aaron and I attended a business dinner! So overall, Austin had a great time and did wonderful and Aaron and I had a great evening too!

Here is a little update on Aaron and I as well! Aaron has been working very hard at work and enjoying his job here in Perth! I have enjoyed meeting new friends and going out for girls night! We just experienced both Austin and I getting sick and having to take care of ourselves while Aaron was at work. Good thing for me I was the worse over the weekend but still not a 100% when Austin decided to get sick. Aaron surprised me with a new I-phone. So now I have some reading up to do to figure out how to use the new I-phone! Tomorrow Aaron, Austin and I will be leaving for our very first trip away from Perth to Bali, Indonesia! We are super excited and can not wait to share the great pictures and stories with you when we return! One more exciting thing, for those who do not know yet my sister got engaged! We are super excited and can not wait till they return from there cruise so I can here all the details!
